Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 30, 2026
Wiggly Doodles is an app that turns children’s drawings into short animated movies. It’s designed to be used by kids with a parent’s supervision. This policy explains, in plain language, what information the app uses and why.
The short version
- No accounts, names, emails, phone numbers or locations are collected from kids.
- No ads, and no advertising or tracking tools.
- A drawing is sent to our servers only when you tap “Bring it to life”, and only to make the movie.
- Drawings and finished movies are stored on your device.
What we use, and why
The drawing. When you tap “Bring it to life”, the app places the drawing on a sheet of paper inside the chosen adventure’s scene and sends that picture to our video server. The server passes it to our AI video provider, which creates the movie. We ask that only drawings are used, not photos of people.
The adventure you picked (for example “Surf”), so the movie shows the right action.
A random device ID. The app creates a random code when it’s first opened. It doesn’t identify you or your child. We use it only to count how many movies have been made on the device, to know which plan it’s on, and to make sure only that device can see its movies while they’re being made.
Purchases. If a grown-up subscribes or buys a Movie Pack, payment is handled by Stripe, which collects the parent’s email and payment details under its own privacy policy. We never see card details. We only receive a customer reference and whether the device has an active plan.
Basic counts (for example how many movies were made each day and which adventures are most popular), which are not linked to any person.
What we don’t collect
We don’t collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, contacts, precise or approximate location, photos from your library (other than a drawing you choose), or advertising identifiers. The app has no ads and no social features where kids can talk to strangers.
How long we keep things
- On your device: drawings and movies stay on your device until you delete them in the app or delete the app.
- On our servers: the record of a movie being made is deleted automatically after 7 days. Our AI video provider keeps the uploaded picture and finished movie for a limited time (about 7 days) so the app can download it.
- Counts and plan status are kept while the app is in use, tied only to the random device ID.
Services we use
- Cloudflare runs our video server.
- Higgsfield (AI video provider) creates the movies from the drawing.
- Stripe handles payments and subscriptions.
These services only receive what they need to do their job. We don’t sell or rent any information.
Sharing
Movies are private to your device. They’re only shared if a grown-up chooses to share one using the Share button, which is protected by a grown-ups-only check. Where it goes is up to you.
Children’s privacy
Wiggly Doodles is made for children, with parents in charge. We follow the principles of the U.S. Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA): we don’t collect personal information from children, purchases and sharing are behind a parent check, and parents can contact us at any time to ask about or delete information connected to their device.
Your choices
You can delete any drawing or movie in the app, or delete the app to remove everything stored on your device. To ask us to delete the counts linked to your device’s ID, contact us with the device ID shown in the app’s grown-ups area.
Changes
If we change how the app uses information, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
